Amendments and Cancellation Information

We endeavor to fulfil our responsibilities in holding the Rainbow Flag Award as outlined in the handbook and ‘How it works’ webpage. However, we do recognise that sometimes alterations or cancellations are inevitable. In order to keep the admin of this manageable, we set out the below parameters:

Training cancelled by The Proud Trust (the owner of The Rainbow Flag Award)

• In the extremely rare event of The Proud Trust having to cancel Rainbow Flag Award starter/refresher training, we will endeavour to give you as much notice as we can. We will make every attempt to rearrange a new date, or will issue a complete refund.

Delaying, deferring or withdrawing from The Rainbow Flag Award

• You may choose to delay your start, defer to another cohort or withdraw from The Rainbow Flag Award at any point up to four weeks before your scheduled starter/refresher training at no cost to you. Any settings that choose to withdraw from the award process may be issued with a complete refund if they give The Proud Trust notice of four or more weeks. The Proud Trust can be contacted for withdrawal by emailing info@rainbowflagaward.co.uk.

Non-attendance to the starter/refresher training

• A minimum of two training places per setting are included with all Rainbow Flag Award packages. The dates of training are sent out ahead of time and a setting’s application is only processed following confirmation from a setting that someone from their setting will be able to attend the date of the all-day training session. Following receipt of confirmation, for a full refund or to defer to another cohort with alternate training dates you must notify The Proud Trust via email four weeks or more ahead of the first training date. A full refund will not be possible with fewer than four weeks notice, and transfer to another training date may incur an additional cost.
