Rainbow Flag Award Renewal
Your Rainbow Flag Award is valid for two years from the date of completion. When your award is due for renewal, you can choose from three options:
Option 1: Start Again
This option is useful for schools and colleges that have done little or no LGBTQ+ inclusion work since achieving their Rainbow Flag Award, or where there has been a significant turnover of staff.
This is a year-long process of reflection, self-assessment, ongoing monitoring and feedback.
Option 2: Audit Review
Designed for schools and colleges that are still delivering whole-organisation, high-quality LGBTQ+ inclusion work.
This is a term-long process ending with an audit visit to your setting to confirm your great, LGBTQ+ inclusive work has continued.
Option 3: Your Award Lapses
